Cup of Life - Ricky Martin
Funny thing, timing. I shot this before the World Cup Finals, but am uploading it after the results.
I was going for Holland and hoping the Orange army would see some joy finally, but it wasn't to be. However, when taking this shot I wished I had my orange ball, but all I had was this tiny size 2 Barcelona commemorative ball. The irony that Spain beat Holland and with almost half the team coming from Barcelona, is also not lost on me.
Anyway, here today's shot with the ball and a pair of shin guards, trying to emulate the World Cup cup (I wonder if it's still called the Jules Rimet Trophy?)
