Shot some more today, but really want to post this instead. might save what I shot today for later.
Here's Brooke again. This time in an all white studio playing with a single flash and reflector... She wasn't playing with the lighting, we were, she just had to look stunning. More tomorrow.
Strobist Info: One SB900 Speed light on 1/2 power just above and out of shot. It was feathered and bouncing off a Lastolite reflector. I was going for a clam shell effect.

At Joe McNally's Through The Lens Workshop today... what an absolute blast, and a major learning curve. Here's one of Brooke, one of our gorgeous models for the day. I'm sure I'll be posting a few more of these shots over the next few days. More tomorrow.

At the Prince concert tonight. The little man with all the hits was amazing. Although all the smoke machines and mood lights did kill almost all chances of a good shot, I did manage to pull off a few reasonable ones. Here's a great silhouette of the purple one. More tomorrow.

Not long to go before the movie comes out. Got this from the Melbourne show last year... It's an LED light in the shape of a lighter... doesn't really have the same effect of a lighter at a concert, but that's kind of gone away with smoking in pubs hasn't it. More tomorrow.

One of the best things about the South Melbourne Markets is the variety of food available. We're talking food from all the 4 corners. Here's a simple seafood shack, that sits at the very edge of the markets. Must try it one day, if I can tear myself away from having roast duck and chicken from the Hong Kong food shop.
