Not a particularly eventful shooting day, (shame how work gets in the way) so here's one from the archives. Here's Brooke again at the Joe McNally workshop. More tomorrow.
Strobist Info: One SB900 Speed light on 1/2 power just above and out of shot. It was feathered and bouncing off a Lastolite reflector.

One from the archives, mainly because all I shot today was machinery and plant equipment... nothing really spectacular.
Anyway I found this one shot a year ago at the Joe McNally workshop. This one has the beautiful Brooke looking a bit wild.. grrrr! More tomorrow.

A composite shot today. Took a shot of Brooke in the studio and took the background a few weeks ago at docklands. The flutter in the jacket and the tossing of the hair kind of just goes with the background. More tomorrow.

Going through my shots from a couple of months ago and just brushing up on my photoshop work and retouching. Found this one that worked quite well considering the lighting source. More tomorrow.
Strobist info: One SB 900 on full, bare, handheld pointing up at a mirror ball about 10-15 feet up and camera left. In fact, Brooke, the model is looking right at it. you can almost see the reflection off her eyes.

Slight mishap at home today, so no shots today. nothing like a damn leaking pipe coming through the ceiling to spoil a perfectly good Sunday.
Anyway, here's one more from the shoot last week... Tamika again with those killer core muscles. honestly, she held that pose for close to 20 minutes without flinching. More tomorrow.

Shot some more today, but really want to post this instead. might save what I shot today for later.
Here's Brooke again. This time in an all white studio playing with a single flash and reflector... She wasn't playing with the lighting, we were, she just had to look stunning. More tomorrow.

At Joe McNally's Through The Lens Workshop today... what an absolute blast, and a major learning curve. Here's one of Brooke, one of our gorgeous models for the day. I'm sure I'll be posting a few more of these shots over the next few days. More tomorrow.
