Was in Perth last weekend for a wedding; I couldn't really do all the wedding photos I wanted, because I was in the bridal party, but I did get some before and afters.

Hee's one from the Night noodle Market on a lovely almost summery evening. The biggest problem we had was choosing what to eat. More next week.

After a night of dining out followed by half a dozen games of football live on TV and an F1 qualifying (also on TV), I stepped out onto the balcony to see this. Balloon, birds and building at the break of dawn. More next week.

Just realised that this shot was taken after the shot date, but this is one of my favourite kind of concert shots.

So here's Def Leppard on the 30th anniversary of their Hysteria album tour. Unlike the previous concert that I went to a week before, we had excellent seats for this one. Also with a really good point and shoot camera, I managed to get these shots. More soon.

This is last week's post from the Taylor Swift concert in Melbourne. When the tickets came out on sale earlier last year, I was too slow in getting ground level seats. I ended up getting really cheap ones, almost in the nose-bleed section. Still, it turned out to be a really good concert. More soon.

Been really slack with posting this month (October). Chalk it down to post holiday blues, too busy, laziness... Anyway it's time to get back on track. Here's something from almost 3 weeks ago. A  Saturday morning in early Spring and people were dressed in lots of gold and glitter, except for these to in almost primary colours. More soon.

Almost caught up to date with the posting... almost. Here's one of my favourite from Little India in Singapore. Was walking through and found this street art on a patch of grass almost in the middle of nowhere. More soon.

Another one from Singapore. This time from the famous Little India. I saw this really colourful house and pulled out the wide angle 14mm and shot... capturing the pigeon in mid-flight was one of those one in a lifetime flukes. More soon.

One of the posts had to be about racing. Took this during Free Practice when Stroll and Sirotkin from the Williams Martini Racing team went free-styling with their cars. It was all very dramatic. More soon.

Finally caught up with my snaps from the trip. So I'm going to post them according to the dates/week that they were taken.

Took a bit of selecting, but this has got to be my favourite for the week. Shot from the entrance of Clifford Pier... now a restaurant and hotel lobby, but years ago it was the place to go to get a boat trip off the island. The restoration to this whole area is remarkable. More soon.

Was a bit of a toss up to post one of 2 photos for the week. Considering I'll be in another country in a couple of hours, I figured I'd just settle by doing a double exposure.

Took a few of these the other morning in the city. Heard her sing from across the road, and we were mesmerised.

Took this slightly out of the week deadline, but I did have a few shots within the week that I wanted to post.

So here's the new toy. It's a Ukulele Bass. Beautiful Mahogany body, bone nut and bridge, built-in pre-amp and tuner and rubber... Yes! Rubber strings!

I hadn't picked up a bass in years and was initially looking around for an electronic drum set, which I hadn't played with in years as well. Anyway, came across the Uke bass online, read some reviews, tried it out at the store, and bought one. It's heaps of fun and completely playable in most music genres. In fact with the rubber strings it's sounds more acoustic bass than what you'd think a small ukulele body could produce. So it's time to get back to playing bass. More soon.
