Was in Sydney over the Australia Day weekend and took this shot of a couple strolling by the harbour... love is in the air.
This is another late post, but I'm still going to keep up with the project, watch out for the next one in a few days.

Another shot from Sydney. We went to this place called Bazaar Beer Cafe and had a few beers and a pork knuckle just before the wedding party in the evening. It was a really charming place, nice beer, good food and some of the hottest looking barstaff around.
Anyway, we were talking about the word Bazaar. We know it means market and found it curious that it sounds very close to the Chinese word with the same meaning - "Pa Sah", and if I'm not wrong, even the Malay term for market sounds very similar "Pasak". It wasn't the beer talking, at least I don't think it was. A wikipedia search pulled up even more info. Anyway, we came to the conclusion that it must have been passed through the silk road and thus the similarities. OK that's it for me today.

Playing with the whole tilt-shift thing again. This shot was taken on our way to what turned out to be one very remarkable night of Japanese feasting. I've got to say thanks to Ken and Katherine for such a great time in Sydney. Back to Melbourne tomorrow... sigh.

Shot of the day from the airport as I got into Sydney. Thinking that I should get my shot in early as I might not have a chance later. But hey you never know.
Am in Sydney to celebrate a good friend's wedding... it's going to be a good good weekend.
