Shot this on my way home and saw this lovely tree-line street in it's winter glory. More tomorrow.

Managed to haul myself out of bed early on a sunday morning to the markets, and fire a few shots off. Typically at this time of the morning the markets are somewhat empty... it's good sometimes to get there before the hustle and bustle. More tomorrow.

After a morning of work and an afternoon of much inactivity, all in preparation for the start of the new premier league season; I find my lack of camera activity leading me back to the archives to pull this one out. Melbourne on a clear, warm night. More tomorrow.

It's been a busy week, and while I'm glad to see the end of it, it's also been a lot of fun.
And today, we had a visitor at work. Belinda Hocking, whom I shot a video of last week came over to our office with her medals and very kindly let us all touch it, and in some cases, even wear them.
Today's shot was taken a week ago and that's her with her medals- A gold and a bronze! More tomorrow.

Out for dinner tonight, and it was cold... really cold. And to my surprise her comes miss dressed-in-shorts-and-T crossing the road in front of me. More tomorrow.
More videoing today, which meant less shooting, so here's another one from docklands. A bit of HDR to make the sky pop and a runner making a cameo makes the shot for me. More tomorrow.

Spent most of the day today with her shooting videos and some stills for SunSense sunscreen; here's one of the outtakes. more tomorrow.
And yes... I got to touch an actual gold and bronze medal. Very exciting.

Out for dinner tonight just outside of the city. Never cease to amaze the number of really good food available in this city.
This shot was taken a while ago, just at the edge of said city. Plus I'm on a slight hiatus from the camera while my slightly over-stretched neck heals. More tomorrow.

It's been getting progressively colder these past few weeks... and it's already August. Here's something in praise of warmer days. More tomorrow.

More from the streets of Melbourne. Here's a Banksyesque street art that I can't believe I haven't seen, considering I pass there almost every week. More tomorrow.

Made it to Footscray tonight, and more importantly, made it back. It's not a great part of the city, but the lure of new places to eat was stronger than need for self preservation.
Anyway, took this on my way back just on the edge of the city. Yes that's a train/tram standing upright! More tomorrow.

On the plus side, I got my taxes done today! And I managed to get out and enjoy a very nice morning (albeit freezing morning) by the bay in Port Melbourne.
On the minus side, I just wasted 2 hours of my life watching Sharknado 2!
When I was out this morning I managed to get a shot of this, really wish I had my tripod for this shot. More tomorrow.

That is a University. The RMIT 10 storey city campus. It's a really funky building with heaps of odd spaces and you can't take your eyes off it most of the time. More tomorrow.
