Someday - John Legend
At the John Legend concert tonight. And as most venues won't let you bring in a DSLR, I had to do today's shot with a compact... so excuse the blurry photo.
Took this right at the end of the night. And you see those raised hands in front? Well everyone from row j seat 22 and behind had to put up with that the whole night. Whether seated or standing, there go the arms... it's like gravity had no effect on those arms. Still it was a great concert and I'm just venting. More tomorrow.

Lampshade - Beck
Still suffering from the after effects of the concert... ringing ears, killer backache and tired feet. I whinge.
Took this before the concert at Saint & Rogue, a quaint little pub for suits mainly. However, if you get there early enough, away from the distractions, the wooden paneling and long darkwood bar and walls adorned with old glass bottles, it's all really quite cool.
Took this shot of an old lamp against the wood paneling. HDR'd it and like the grain texture. Mind you it was a bit of work trying to get this image from a compact, but still I think it works. More tomorrow.
