One Love - Bob Marley
Found this shot after losing it for a week. I did my usual backups and then erased my CF card from the camera. Problem was, I was doing my backup and processing at some ungodly hour of the morning, and in my half sleep - half awake state, I put the files in the wrong place.
I was going through my backups just a few nights ago for some HDR processing and viola, I found it.
Took this shot during Melbourne Open House 2010, this was taken at St Paul's Cathedral. It was probably one of my last shots in the cathedral, I was walking to the Alters towards the side of the place when I saw this Sikh guy with a really majestic blue turban. I thought the blue was really nice amidst the sea of red, brown and gold hues of the Cathedral. I also like the idea of a Sikh man in a christian church and he was showing all the respect that should be accorded to the place.
Wish I had my tripod with me though. More tomorrow.

Blues In My Bottle - Lightnin Hopkins
Finally a shot with a flash as promised. Today's subject is one of those fancy looking thermos bottles. Got this as a sample, looks cool enough.

Maneater - Hall & Oates
I know I said I'd do a studio shot for today, but again I got caught up in the HDR thing. I took this shot at the zoo a couple of weeks back and wasn't too pleased with the outcome. However with the magic of HDR - Viola. Love it.
Will make a big effort to use my flash tomorrow. Besos baby.

Looking Out My Back Door - CCR
Real foggy morning today. Got up and it was just a sheet of white. Couldn't resist a 3 exposure HDR shot. I know it's another Balcony shot, but I'm thinking HDR is going to give me a 2nd go with a lot of shots. Will do a more "studio" shot tomorrow... I hope.

Lost - The Badloves
Haven't done a black and white for My 365, so here we go. Here's a shot of a Melbourne city street, Flinders Lane, I think. I converted it to black and white and did a little tilt shift. More tomorrow.

Suffragette City - David Bowie
Welcome to Melbourne. One of the nicest cities in the world, and quite pretty too. It's also home to Australia's first female Prime Minister, Julia Gillard. She lives just beyond those light and to the right of the picture.
Today's picture was taken from the 39th floor of the Sofitel, heck you can even see my place from this picture if you look hard enough. Hope you like this picture, and if you do, there are a few more Melbourne At Night From Up High in my new set on Flickr. Besos babies.

Red House - Jimi Hendrix
Been a busy day today. From loading stuff from the Melbourne Open House, to getting my cousin across town to do some shopping to trying to catch more of the MOH. Eventually ended up at Brunzwick street for my cousin to do more shopping. I took this shot standing outside the Alannah Hill Shop while waiting for her. More tomorrow.
