Out to a Melbourne Cup lunch today... sadly I didn't back a winner... even more sad that a horse died after the race and I had money on it. (Sad that it died, not the loss of money). Still lunch was good and exciting and fun and filling. More tomorrow... I'm going to see the Rolling Stones.

One of the good things about working in a creative/studio department is that occasionally, we get new toys! Introducing my new Mac Pro.

Spent most of the day setting this and 3 others up. Although repetitive, it was so much fun. Still haven't had the chance to take it for a spin, but if it's half as good as I think it is, boy-o-boy! More tomorrow.

Trick or Treat? It's funny, but Halloween was never a big thing when I was growing up. Actually it's not even something we ever "celebrated". It's only in recent years that it's become popular.
