Another balcony shot of some club house at Albert Park. I was hoping to get some nice reflections off the water, but the wind was blowing quite strong so the water was a bit choppy. Anyway that's my excuse. More tomorrow.

In keeping with my bird theme (if you didn't know there was a theme, well you're not the only one), here's a another one of them birds trying to be a vulture... just waiting, not even a metre away, for food scraps. More tomorrow.

Last day of the ANZAC Day long weekend. Just sitting outside one of our favourite food haunts when these pigeons decided to come rest and be vultures, just waiting for us to finish our lunch so that they can swoop on in and pick on scraps... it would be cool if they got the waiting bit right.
Anyway these two were sitting quite apart from each other when a gust of wind blew and kind of pushed them together.

Went to the Melbourne Art Exhibition today and saw lots of great art pieces. Although touted to be affordable art, most were priced outside of my price range. However, they did offer lots of inspiration for my future painting projects. Took a few photos there at the Royal Exhibition Building, but I'm sure none of the artists would want me to publish them here.
After the exhibition we went to a little French Crepe place called Breizoz. The setting is definitely old French cafe style and the crepes are divine. Anyway, I took this shot of their "sugar bowls" that were lined up on the mantlepiece.

On the eve of our ANZAC day long weekend, I thought of a little something to remember the fallen.
I must admit I've been watching The Pacific and I was a great fan of Band of Brothers, and this weekend is a good time to commemorate how as Churchill put it "Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many..."

Got up early enough, with camera in tow to see this, and I couldn't resist. Love the sky and that church steeple rising out from the horizon.
I know this was shot on the 22nd, but I think it still can be counted in My 365 for the 21st. Anyway that's just the catholic in me trying to mute the guilt. More tomorrow.
