One more double exposure. Really like playing with these kind of shots at the moment. There might be more of these in the near future, just depends on my mood, I guess. More next week.
Been working on several double exposures for a few weeks. This is one of them. Did a few test portrait shots with different lighting options and used some of those to work in the double exposure. More next week.
Was at the State Library earlier in the week. It's an amazing building on the outside and the inside is equally impressive.
Was curious about the relevance of the library in this digital age. Interestingly, there were desks full of students enjoying the free wifi; there were lots of exhibits surrounding the main hall of the library that were well attended; and there were quite a few book shelves that well patronised. Glad to see I wasn't the only curious one that day. More next week.
The obligatory moon shot. I seem to do this a couple of times a year... I guess there's just something about that rock in our night sky that's just so appealing.
Just heard news of a new Sony camera coming out in a few months... the A9. If I do eventually get it, I guess there'll be more moon shots to follow.
Quite a few to choose from this week. Had a couple of moon shots, did a few double exposures and then... we went for lunch in the city and stumbled onto the graffiti at AC/DC Lane. Took this while a friendly passerby walks in front of the shot. Good timing. More next week.
Off to the South Melbourne Markets with a 50mm f1.4. Stopped down to f1.4 quite a bit and really loved the results... it was like bokeh heaven. Anyway, this was my favourite shot of the day, I call it "comparing". More next week.
