A close up of the newly rebuilt Great Southern Wheel - Melbourne's answer to the London Eye and the Singapore Flyer. Only thing is that it overlooks the, let's just say, less scenic part of the city.
Well, the first time they built it, there were structural flaws, so after several millions of dollars, here's the supposedly improved wheel. Nothing like throwing money at a lost cause. More tomorrow.
