Been thinking about what I should do next year for my 365. Whether to continue, to change it up a bit or to give it up altogether. I'm starting to lean on a shot a week something like this... with a bit more composite work. Maybe something more elaborate and requiring much more time than 24 hours to put together. I thought a black and white was in order today. Having reached one million views on Flickr overnight, I was delighted to find the milestone had come about 10 weeks early.
I had initially wanted to finish my fifth year of 365 on the million mark, but now I'm undecided if I should go on for another year... will I have 10 weeks to decide, and maybe I and can get some sleep then. More tomorrow and thanks again for viewing.

Just put this together... All the electrics were in place and waiting for the neck to arrive, which it did today. Took a couple of minutes to set the neck and a few more to string, intonate and tune. So here's my new Fender Jaguar. Sounds cool, but I really need to get my head around the pickup switching. More tomorrow.

Quite an eventful day today... Apart from walking around South Melbourne during the day, we also made a side trip to a not too distant suburb to buy a house. And at auction no less, and we were the last ones standing. Success! It's not everyday you get to say "buy" at close to a million dollars... even if it's not your money!
So you can understand why my camera hardly saw any action. So here's something from the back catalogue. Somewhere in the city on a lovely night with the iconic Melbourne tram approaching. More tomorrow.

Shot this yesterday, and it took a bit of work to get the final image. I had the final image in mind when I was shooting it, so it was just a matter of getting the front and back shot right. The whole process turned out to be quite fun to do. I might try it on others I shot. More tomorrow.

Early start tomorrow, so my camera's all packed away and besides, I spent most of the day lazing around. So here's one from Singapore during JLo's concert.
I have to admit, it's a rare site to see only one camera up in the air. Mind you I love to shoot at concerts as well, but when you throw selfie-sticks into the mix, then it's like looking through a sea of antennae with an illuminated top from every vantage point. Still, you can't have it all. More tomorrow.

Took this yesterday before boarding the red eye back to Melbourne. Am posting this at the end of what seems to be a really long and eventful day.
Landed at 7 am, unpacked and did some housework by 10, grouted the bathroom floor by noon, did laundry by 2, went out for dinner and watched 3 bands play with my old friend Tom... So yes it's been a really busy 24+ hours. More tomorrow.
