Out at the casino this evening and it was full on Brazilian in anticipation of the first World Cup round of 16 games.

2nd day of the World Cup and my sense of time has just been shot to pieces. I thought my weekend was over and went to sleep early to be awake for the matches before going to work... Only thing is there is no work on Sunday! It's like I gained a day or lost a Saturday night.

Whatever the case, today's shot was taken during a walk along the beach. Took this at the pier as this brave runner was approaching the end of her run. More tomorrow.

On the eve of the world cup, I feel like a kid on X'mas eve. On the down side, I don't think the next month will be very productive on the shooting side, the work side, the sleep side, actually anything that's not football related will have to take a backseat. Spent most of the long weekend putting this together. Not the shot, but the guitar. Finally got all the gold parts in and new pickups... all that's missing is my new gold paisley pick guard, which is designed but just waiting to be printed. Shouldn't be too long before this butterscotch Squire telecaster is completely done. And it already plays like a dream. More tomorrow.
