Can't believe it's almost coming to an end. 5 years of 365... Another 3 more posts and I'll be done. Start on a newer photography adventure... not much different from a 365, but something more involved.
Anyway this was taken a few days ago, and I was in wonder of the bokeh, probably as much as the girl on the phone. More tomorrow.

Boxing Day and like any other boxing day, it was spent watching cricket, eating and sleeping. On the occasion that I did step out of the house to attend a dinner party, I saw this.
I know I take this shot every year around this time, but the moon in just the right spot... that I've never seen before. So here you go, the 5th last 365 ever. More tomorrow.

At the annual Christmas Party, and managed to get 4 generations of the Hendricks girls. Mind you, out of the 8 ladies in the photo, only 1 carries the Hendricks name and that's her married name too. More tomorrow.

It seems as though my own blog has blocked me from signing in, which is the reason I missed yesterday. ( That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!)
Anyway, my little Goddaughter came for a visit to day to spread some festive cheer and to play some of the 33 songs she's learnt since I saw her last! Well done my dear. More tomorrow.

Didn't post yesterday again. It was a very long day for me, at our end of year Xmas party. Here's a shot of it from afar. Really love those lanterns, and if you look closely enough, a little oddity to the right of the picture. More tomorrow.

Missed yesterday's post... was too tired to do anything. Today is no different, but I did have quite a few shots to choose from (when it rains, it pours),
There was the one where adults were caught on camera playing with toys. Then there was the one where a grown up female plays the Ninja Turtles Game on the Xbox (also quite funny); then there was the one were the kid bullies the adult... but today's winner had to be this... I call it Ball In Face. Still funny every time I see it. More tomorrow.

There's this billboard that I pass everyday on my way home. While most times it's just some nondescript ad of some kind, this current rotation sees the new Peroni ad gracing my journey home. So here's one straight off the little QX10. More tomorrow.

Out on a really gloomy day in the city. It was cold, but not cold enough... wet, but not wet enough... dry, but a bit too humid for comfort. Still the city offers a whole lot to see. I did think some X'mas lights would have been nice to shoot, but this woman on a bike was too cool to resist. More tomorrow.

Stuck in traffic for 3 hours, an hour late for dinner and frustrated beyond belief! All this to try out this new burger joint called Grand Trailer Park Taverna. The burgers were OK, the milkshake was crazy (bourbon, vanilla and maple bacon... yes bacon!). What it lacked in taste, it made up for in ambience. The whole decor was made to look like a trailer park. Now that's pretty cool. More tomorrow.

Something from Southbank just across from the city. The bridge at the back is Queen's Bridge. Here's another shot from Thursday's workshop. Got to say that I felt middle inadequate using the tiny QX10 next to the new Hasselblad H5... but what do you do if you don't have a spare 20+ grand. More tomorrow.

Was immobile today, so not much moving. Here's something from the night before. Took this at a workshop... couldn't resist sneaking a picture, even if it was with my little QX10.
On another note, I heard the news that the Rolling Stones had cancelled their concert at Hanging Rock. While I'm sad for those that will miss the show, I'm also really thankful I managed to catch the one on Wednesday. And I've set up an Album on Flickr of the shots I took on the night. Let's hope Mick gets well quick, so others won't miss out too. More tomorrow.

Ladies and gentlemen, The Rolling Stones. My sister pointed out to me that we've seen them at least once in every decade starting from the Voodoo Lounge Tour in '94. And they're still going strong, still putting out one heck of a show and still end songs like they we're jamming. Love it. This shot is with Mick Taylor on guitar and Darryl Jones on bass (the man who got my job). More tomorrow.
