It's been a long and busy work week, and it was really nice to end the Friday night with a few drinks with family and friends.

People meet Steph, our intern for the next week. She hung out in the studio today and helped set up lights for a shoot. Here she is acting as stand-in... she doesn't wear glasses, but since the subject was going to be wearing glasses, she had to put one on so that I could get a good indicator of the amount of glare on the glasses. Oh and she did work out to be a really good light stand as well. More tomorrow.

Found this while going through the shots from today. I took this while setting up for a shoot today. Tess agreed to stand in as I fixed the lights and made sure there was no flare on the glasses. This was literally the first shot off the camera... way over-exposed, but I thought it was cool. I added a bit of HDR to bring out the eyes. More tomorrow.

Took this the other day while in the city. Nothing like a good 200mm prime to really get in close... I could talk bout the juxtaposition of a perfectly healthy looking woman having lunch while a skinny mannequin lurks in the background, but when I took the shot, I was just thinking nice half and half framing! This little munchkin came in to work today to meet his grandmother, couldn't resist taking a few (about 50) shots of young Oscar.

Here's Xavier with his Mum. Aloma, his grandmother was behind the camera making googoo-gaga noises to get Oscar to smile. More tomorrow.

Another one from last week. This time it's the son of our Sales Manager. Word has it that young James here is an aspiring actor, I must say he makes a pretty good model too.

More shoots at work today. This time it's the mother and daughter combo of Lucy and Jess. Really enjoy doing this series of shoots, with the people at work and their family.
