It's getting warmer now... I think this weekend might be the last of the cool weather before summer well and truly hits. Then again, this is Melbourne and you never really know.
It got into the 30's today and that means beach weather. Took this right near St. Kilda Beach... just 3 people soaking up the sun. More tomorrow.

Out today with the new camera and loving it. Could have easily posted about 5 or so shots, but settled for this one.
Walking around the markets today and heard this great music coming from one of the cafes. A spanish old time jazz duo with the double bass player singing. Really cool guys. More tomorrow.

Got a new lens today, a Minolta 200mm F2.8. It's claimed to be one of the best lenses Minolta has ever made... I don't know about that, but I've got to say it's a real beauty.
Here's something I took without framing, or focusing. I just turned the camera to Eugene and shot. I've been shooting all day with it and I'm loving the bokeh and the sharpness. I'm loving everything about it. So be prepared for more shots with this lens for the foreseeable future. More tomorrow.

Whacked on the 2 x Teleconverter on my beercan lens pointed it at the lit up glass building nearby and got this.
I've taken a few shots of this building, it's really nice when it's all lit up, especially that glass lift shaft. More tomorrow.

Apparently we had the worst gridlock day ever in Melbourne, and all because of a computer glitch. The official line was the signs weren't working in the tunnels and as a result they had to shut them down.
Well here's me stuck in traffic today... only good thing was I go against the flow of traffic, and I still doubled my commute time. More tomorrow.
